Ganmar and education: three initiatives with schools to bring young people closer to the marble sector.

In May, we had the pleasure of being involved in the professional training of the new generations by participating in three important educational activities aimed at students from various classes and schools. The objective is to bring young people closer to the world of work through direct experiences in companies and comparison with professionals in the sector.
Encounters with secondary schools: the future begins with discovery
Ganmar has welcomed at its headquarters the children of second middle classes of the Comprehensive Institute “Girolamo Fracastoro” of Cavaion, within a project promoted by the School of Vocational Training San Zeno in Verona. The meetings took place on 15 and 22 May and were aimed at guiding students in their choice of high school.
During the visit, the students were able to get a close look at the process leading to the realisation of a project in the marble sector: from the survey and forecasting phase, to the executive design and actual production. Modern technologies used in company machinery were also presented, with the intention of showing how technological innovation is now an integral part of this sector.

SFP Craft Challenge 2025: Ganmar among event partners
Ganmar participated in the SFP Craft Challenge 2025, an event promoted by the San Zeno Vocational Training School that involved third classes from the fields of Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, Graphics and Marble in a multidisciplinary project entitled “Shaping the future”.
The initiative was divided into three phases: experiential training, collaborative design and final presentation. The groups of students worked on the realization of a technical lamp integrating creativity and specific skills. Ganmar, as technical sponsor, followed with interest the phases of the event and Giuseppe Gandini, founder of the company, was part of the jury on the closing day of May 16.
At Ganmar we are committed to training the professionals of the future
These three activities bear witness to Ganmar’s concrete commitment to promoting a culture of work, technical knowledge and dialogue between schools and businesses. Supporting education means helping to build a better future by building bridges between classrooms and the world of work.
