1. Washing for the first time

When washing for the first time, a solution of one part neutral detergent such as Fila Cleaner to 30 parts water should be used.
Product:    one part Fila Cleaner to 30 parts water solution
Yield:    2 l per 100 sq.m            
Tools:    Single-brush machine with soft disc, wet vacuum cleaner, scrubber, floorcloth.
Procedure:    After thoroughly cleaning and dampening the surface, spread the Fila Cleaner 1:30 solution evenly and then clean vigorously with a single-brush machine with non-abrasive disc or scrubber and floorcloth. (When using the scrubber, rinse the floorcloth regularly in the washing solution). Rinse thoroughly with clean water or, if necessary, use the wet vacuum cleaner.

2. Stain-resistant protection

Product:           Fila MP/90 waterproofing, solvent-based water/oil-repellent
Yield:               around 5 litres per 100 sq.m
Tools:        flat brush
Procedure:    With a perfectly clean, dry floor, apply a uniform, continuous coat of Fila MP/90 with a flat brush. After 24 hours, remove any product residue with a cloth soaked in Fila Solv.

3. Regular maintenance

    •    Wash with Fila Cleaner diluted in water.  When a 1:200 solution is used, rinsing is not necessary. This product can also be used with a washer-drier.
    •    Approximately once a year, or when necessary, renew the wax protection by applying a solution of Fila Classic diluted in water (2-3 glasses in 5 litres of water).

After treatment, the material must be regularly cleaned. Maintenance operations are intended to remove dirt and renew the protective layer if worn out. It is crucial to carry our regular maintenance, using methods and products that will not affect the protection applied during the initial treatment. The amount of maintenance required will depend on the degree of wear.
